Women Empowerment Cell

Women Empowerment Cell is to mould energetic and enthusiastic women leaders with social and cultural responsibilities. Our College Women Empowerment Cell conducted One Day Guest Lecture given by Mr.V.S.Manikandan M.A B.L Advocate, District  Court, Nilakottai on 20^th  August 2015.

In this academic year, we anticipated the women’s day celebration on 3^rd March 2016, with eminent personalities. Dr.Sharmili Priscilla Mathuram, Mrs.Josephine Mary Pappu, Mrs. Velmani and Mrs.Vairamani were the chief guests of the grand function. 

Women Empowerment Cell

            To empower the women students in our College we started women Empowerment Cell in our College. In the  time of inaugural function Mrs. Mahesdevi, Real Society Kailasapatty, Theni delivered the message about the role of self help groups in rural areas.

Monthly meeting was held in our College dated 18.01.2013 on the topic is Sexual Harassment against the Women

Women’s Day was celebrated on 6^th March  2013 in which Mrs.Meenaskhi, President of Rotary Club, was the Chief Guest. 

Women Empowerment Endeavour: 

International Women’s day was celebrated on 8th March,2021 presided over by the  Principal Rev.Fr.Issac PJ CMI and felicitated by Rev.Fr. Joshy CMI Vice Principal. During this Online program, Special address was given by Dr.M.Devaki ,Professor, NS College. Women’s day message was given by Dr. Sorubarani, Head, PG & Research dept of commerce. The students actively participated in cultural events.
