We as a educational institution believe and try to insist that education is a process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, and habits. Our education fundamentally incorporate those traditional methods namely, teaching, training, storytelling, discussion and directed research. We do believe that education frequently takes place under the guidance of educators; however, learners can also educate themselves. Education can take place in formal or informal settings and any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may be considered educational.
Integration
We dream of forming integrated human persons by educating them in and through our MMC. You may know the word differentiate, meaning “set apart.” Integrate is its opposite. When you integrate things, you bring them together. So integration is the act of doing just that, like the integration of students from different parts of the nation who speak different, languages, who believe in different gods and who studies different subjects. In a deeper sense, we aim at integrating different dimensions of students viz., physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. That way we visualize the formation of an integral personality.
Sublimation
Psychology uses the term sublimation for the process of diverting the expression of (an instinctual desire or impulse) from its unacceptable form to one that is considered more socially or culturally acceptable. Education also has this process of transformation taking place in an individual by which a shift of a lower impulse takes place into something socially and culturally constructive. We MMC also believe in such self-changing process. We aim at bringing out the best in individuals that will shine like a sublimated aspect in their lives.
Commitment
We want to form individuals who are committed personally, socially, culturally and globally at large. Making a commitment involves dedicating oneself to something, like a person or a cause. Before one makes a commitment, one should think carefully. Since a commitment obligates you to do something. The phenomenon of commitment is a cornerstone of human social life. Commitments make individuals’ behavior predictable in the face of fluctuations in their desires and interests, thereby facilitating the planning and coordination of joint actions involving numerous individuals.
Excellence
Nothing short of excellence is what we intent for all members of the MMC family. Excellence is a talent or quality which is unusually good and so surpasses ordinary standards. It is also used as a standard of performance as measured e.g. through economic and other calculative indicators. Excellence is the point of reference for all of us in pursuing our on maximum involvement in expressing ourselves.
